2-alarm fire burns Seattle warehouse
www.komonews.com

SEATTLE -- A two-alarm fire gutted a warehouse in Seattle near the
West Seattle Bridge early Thursday. Fire Department spokeswoman
Helen Fitzpatrick said the fire broke out about midnight Wednesday
in the metal fabricating warehouse. Flames had broken through the
roof when firefighters arrived.

There was no one inside and wind was a problem, so firefighters
battled the fire defensively with streams of water from the outside.
The fire was under control by 2:30 a.m.

One firefighter had a minor heat-related injury, and streets around
the building were blocked off for several hours.

Investigators are waiting for daylight to look for the cause of the fire.
